Inspiration
I got the idea for this series in a dream I had. The essential part of the dream was that there was an angel sitting in a ray of light, with her eyes closed. I remember that.
I got closer, and saw her face shadowed in darkness, and she tilted her head and looked at me with piercing eyes.
But I don't remember what her eyes looked like.
Ever since that dream, I wanted to create a series of three images that might fit what her eyes looked like. Was she angry? Broken? Dreaming?
I'll never know.
Blaze in my heart.

Technique
This image was edited several times, simply because I couldn't decide what style I wanted to do. The face was edited a lot more than I planned, in order to match the iris. The iris was heavily manipulated to have a lot of gold in it. I actually really love the variety of colour in her eye.
I eventually decided upon the word "blaze" to portray the power in this picture.
Stunning.
