Interesting picture. You live in Australia?
I like the idea of trying to capture your hometown's "true face," and this is a nice way of doing it. However, I would have some suggestions:

Biggest problem is that it's over-exposed. Well, not completely, but close. The sky is completely white, and that's not a good thing. Come to think of it, that might have been what the sky actually looked like, I'm not sure. But I don't think so: the way the leaves of the trees are somewhat burnt out into the sky suggests that this picture is too bright. I'm not sure how you would fix this, because if you darken the midtone you'll end up with a under-exposed foreground. Just keep it in mind for future photos, I guess.

Also, the foreground seems too saturated. That's very green, in my opinion it's too green. I would un-saturate it a bit.

The framing is pretty good, the only thing I would say is bad is the plants on the bottom of the frame – try to position the camera so those aren't there. But yeah, the field, building and trees look good together.
