Mine isn't any of those. I just want more art I like in my inbox.

To meet, new friends, to get comments and critiques, to give them, to participate in contests(when I have time), and... Well, that's it. I guess I'd pick all but two options if I could. xD

I would vote "All Options", but there is not this option, so I voted "To get comments and critiques from other artists" because this is the reason why I joined deviant art: to get constructive comments and then improve my art.
But this is not my only interest in here. I appreciate helping others, meeting another deviants, knowing what's happening in our community, and also staring/feed-backing artists artworks.
It depends on the group and the community, really. Some groups encourage this kind of involvement, while some does not, they exist just to collect art and nothing else. Of course this kind of existence for the groups is easier - you just create a group and program it to receive art. It's easier for deviants too, that just submit their art in there and then run away. As some said, our groups offer a lot of platforms and they should be used. Again, it all depends on groups admins and community to be encouraged and disposed to use them.

There isn't an option that says 'to view the deviations' in this poll... (because that's what I mainly use the groups platform for.)

i would put that under the 'To meet new friends and/or find good artists' as you'd be finding good art from said good artists. at least, that's what i chose and i join groups for your same reason

i thought i remember ever answer this poll. maybe i'm dreaming about it.

but anyway, yha what can i say, to be honest i want to be known by other. yes i think all deviant should want it too. i don't want say lie. this is really deep inside my heart.

in personaly..
for some people around me, famous is such a big thing for an art, this is something that i hate. it's not like i'm the great artist also, but somehow they don't want to look even say something to my art. thats why i need to be known.

I'll be honest – I voted "to get comments and critique" because that *is* a big part of the reason why I participate in groups. I do believe that you can't take without giving, though, and I like to give other people critique as well and participate in the group. :) Also, to make friends. Many of the people who I've met on dA, I've met through the groups platform. So it's not limited to just one reason. :)

If I could I would also choose another option, that of "to find art that I'm interested in".

I joined 500 groups and rarely submit artworks. Well, of course most people join groups to get recognition for their artworks but I think groups are more than that. It makes me sad when someone join a group only for the sake of submitting and nothing else.

I prefer participating in their activities and keep up with news/contests. :) Or search for more artist to watch :eyes:
